ICP's Building Button is laying the foundation for the development of large scale normalized energy efficiency data to enable industry stakeholders analyze project performance and effectively manage risk.  The ICP BEDES Data Specification, also known as the Building Button, was developed by a broad stakeholder base as an important step towards the avaiability of actuarial data for the industry.  ICP would like to thank the ICP Data Specification Technical Forum for their work in creating this foundational element that will enable the industry to achieve its data-driven goals.
ICP's Project Registry jumpstarts the process of gathering project based data.  ICP requests that IREE projects be registered in the ICP Project Registry by the project's  Quality Assurance Provider upon certification.  ICP also requests that Project Developers and Building Owners commit to sharing annual energy performance data back to ICP for certified projects.  All data will be kept confidential, identifying fields will be anonymized, and data will only be shared only in aggregate.  Quality Assurance Providers, builiding owners and Project Developers will be given login credentials for the registry upon request.
